Former Edge School student-athlete Matt Davis has signed an AHL Contract with the San Jose Barracuda for the 2025/26 season.
The Calgary, AB netminder spent the 2017/18 season in the CSSHL with the Edge U18 Prep team going 11-6-0 with a .918 SV%, 2.31 GAA and 3 shutouts.
He would play two seasons in the AJHL before heading to the NCAA with the University of Denver. In four NCAA seasons he would post a 63-17-4 record with 4 shutouts, a 2.13 GAA and .921 SV% while winning NCAA Championships in 2022 and 2024.
